journey with us to

the origin of kefir.

a long time ago shepherds took their goats on a trek high into the caucasus mountains of russia.  while their herd were drinking from a crystal clear stream, the shepherds noticed something bubbling in the water.  scooping up the liquid, they discovered what appeared to be soft clusters of translucent water crystals.

the shepherds carefully poured the water and crystals into their drinking pouches. on their way back down the mountain they collected herbs and berries and added them in to this mixture.  that night by the fire they opened up their pouches and to their surprise a delicious, bubbling drink had been born.

birth of a

legend.

the drink became revered and was part of a family’s legacy and wealth.  the prized culture and brewing techniques were closely guarded and were passed down as a family heirloom for thousands of years, until one glorious and illustrious day the culture made it’s way to us.

kefir comes from the turkish word 'keyif' which means 'feel good'.  modern science confirms 95% of the bodies serotonin is produced in our digestive tract.  this hormone is responsible for feeling good. this elixir is ancient wisdom for the modern world.

our divine drink is made authentically, in the original way our ancestors made it, without modern tricks.

it is natural organic goodness.
